About me

I am an associate professor in the School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in automation from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China in 2011, and the M.S. degree in pattern recognition and intelligent systems from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2014. From 2014 to 2015, I was a Research Assistant with Peking University, Beijing, China, and recived the Ph.D. degree with the School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2019. I was a Postdoc in AI center Pengcheng Lab between 2020 and 2021, Shenzhen, China. My research interests lie in high-quality imaging and understanding under adverse weather and conditions.

My research interests include:

  • Image Enhancement for Ill-posed Conditions: Deraining, Dehazing, Turbulence Removal, Low-light Enhancement

  • Image Restoration for Remote Sensing: Destriping, Mixed Noise Removal, Inpainting, Deblurring, Super-resolution

  • New Imaging Camera for Visual Sensing: Neuromorphic Event Imaging, Hyperspectral Imaging
